In 2020-2021 I illustrated a series of articles in the American City Business Journals on the effect of COVID-19 on different business sectors. My rough sketches were based on the provided brief, highlighting specific things affected by COVID-19. The palette was kept simple to align with the American City Business Journal branding.
I designed the backgrounds in Blender to nail down the perspective and composition. After modeling, I go back to 2D and "ink" the final art in Photoshop. The final appeared in print and online. Some of the pieces were used as cover art for certain editions.
