A&M does need to do a better job helping students who choose to study biology and aren’t atheists. Dealing with the apparent cognitive dissonance of knowing your faith is real and that science is true can be super stressful and downright depressing. It doesn’t have to be that way.
There are things that make you go hmmm. And then there are things that make you go WTF.
